Without a doubt this year has revolutionised the way we live and work. With lockdowns being imposed across the world and people being urged to work at home - where possible - we have been swayed to think about the spaces we inhabit.

Through creating harmony in the home with mindful interior design, one can create a relaxing environment to live in, as well as nurturing a calm workspace to increase productivity.

When the word “home” comes to mind, most people want to feel cosy, calm, and re-invigorated. Regardless of personal preference for design or being in-keeping with the trends, achieving balance and harmony throughout the home is key for all. Having appropriate house plants around the home is one way to achieve this.

As living and breathing creatures, we rely on clean oxygen to survive. Especially now with the coronavirus pandemic at large.

Peace Lily’s are an excellent choice for those who may have busy schedules or for the plain forgetful types, as they’re difficult to kill.

The Areca Palm is a beautiful ornamental plant, it not only clears the air but with it’s upwardly curving leaves creates the image of a butterfly.

Both Peace Lily’s and Areca Palm’s are the top two choices of house plants for those suffering from asthma.
